Love and Disney Magic at the Castle
To paraphrase the great J.M. Barrie, to get married seems like an awfully big adventure!
This homemade Welcome Sign set the stage for Dana and Tim’s special day with us.
Dana could barely contain her excitement while she got ready in our Bridal Suite!
She glowed in this gorgeous A-line style romantic wedding gown, and we love the intricate lace details!
Tim looked handsome as well in his gray suit with some fun floral accents on his tie and pocket square to add a little frivolity to his otherwise sharp ensemble.
In preparation for their private First Look, Kami Olavarria had Tim waiting excitedly outside on the top tier of our Lower Lawn area to be surprised by Dana.
The suspense in the room was electric, traveling through all of their family and friends, while everyone waited to hear about Tim’s reaction to seeing his Bride for the first time that day.
We adore this shot of the glowing Dana coming out of the Castle’s Great hall, friends on the balcony behind her, as she goes in search of her Groom!
Finally, the first of many incredible moments on this magical day!
It’s wonderful how much excitement can come from one small tap on your shoulder.
Reunited at last! Now, for the main event…
Mick, from Elite British DJ’s, welcomed all the excited guests to the ceremony on our Front Lawn Area, where our Castle proudly watched over the service.
Smiles all around, and Tim looks elated to be up there with his groomsmen behind him in support!
Just look at that face! Our hearts are melting!!
What better way to frame “The Big Kiss” than with a rustic wedding arch, and your best friends cheering for you?
Don’t miss our favorite part of the ceremony; the “I Do” glow coming from these love birds!
After the ceremony, guests were encouraged to explore the Castle and write their well-wishes on the Name Frame that the creative newlyweds designed instead of a Guest Book.
On the same table, guests enjoyed the references to Disney’s “UP!” that continued the themes of magic and love that Tim and Dana wanted to share.
Personal Touch Dining kept guests well-fed with delicious bite-sized appetizers, made on-site, and specialty cocktails until it was time to find their seats for the Grand Entrance.
The homemade seating chart led guests to their tables where they discovered adorable wedding favors from the Bride and Groom on each plate, thanking them for their endless love and support.
On the sweetheart table, guests noticed a pair of curious vases donned with unconventional photos of the Bride and Groom getting cake smashed in their faces!
After the Grand Entrance, the happy couple explained that the competition was on!
The vases were collectors for votes on who the guests wanted to receive a cakey-kiss during the cake-cutting later in the night!
Personal Touch Dining cooked up another flawless buffet, delighting guests with their high-quality dining so close to the beauty of nature around them.
The Golden Hour is when our majestic Castle comes alive with a light all its own.
After dinner, it was clear to everyone who guests chose as the unlucky recipient of cake to the face!
As a substitute for the Money Dance, which is popular in many cultures but potentially taxing on dancing time, this solution is clever and subtle with just the right amount of fun for guests still!
Our Great Hall is perfect for ceremonial dances such as the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances.
Still, the First Dance as Husband and Wife under our vaulted ceilings and historic hand-painted beams carries a little more sanctification in such a grand space.
The guests had cast their votes, and the time had come for the Cake-Cutting!
Dana made sure they got their money’s worth and did a smashing job showing Tim a little extra love with that cake.
Personal Touch Dining offered several other desserts for guests to help themselves to throughout the rest of the night.
Guests are always especially fond of the Brownies and Chocolate Cake Shooters!
Elite British DJ’s, with their hilarious jokes and fantastic music selection, rocked the house and kept guests grooving all night long!
We are so honored to be the beginning of this beautiful couple’s first adventure together!
We loved every minute working with them and wish them nothing but the best in their bright future together.
